Welcome to the Kirkshop.  My name is Kirk Shinmoto and I like to draw and make things.  This website is still under construction but my plan is for it to become a resource for anyone interested in drawing, design, and making things.  

I am an artist and instructor based in Los Angeles, California. I’ve taught various subjects at art schools such as Art Center College of Design, Concept Design Academy, and Los Angeles Academy of Figurative Art.

In addition to teaching, I have also been working in the animation industry for over a decade. Past credits include: AMC’s Pantheon, Legend of Vox Machina, Voltron: Legendary Defender, Start Trek: Lower Decks, She-Ra: Princess of Power, Turbo: Fast, and Motorcity.

I am currently a design supervisor at Titmouse Animation Studio.
